The fabric is polyester.
Please only hand wash.
The product is roughly 9 inches tall, 10 inches wide with the wings are opened, and 6 inches wide with the wings closed.
**DISCLAIMER** I live with 2 cats and cat hair does go everywhere. I will do everything in my power to get the hair off of the product but it does go everywhere.
